Weekly Tumblr Favourites - Barbies Drag Dream Edition

Hey guys,
So usually I create a outfit inspiration from my favourite Tumblr posts, however this time I thought i'd create a wish list instead. I have been binge watching season seven of RuPauls Drag Race and i've fallen in love with Trixie Mattel and her Barbie on crack ascetic. I also loved the Hello Kitty challenge and Violet Chachki killed it. So this wish list is basically a baby pink overload that I think Barbie would carry in her bag. And I know I'm a season behind since Mochino's spring summer 2015 runway, which was Barbie couture but I just had to make this wish list.

Wish List

So I have picked some of these items as a wish list for myself as well like the bitch phone case from Asos and the Urbanears headphones. However I do have the Creme Cup lipstick buy Mac which I think is a subtle Barbie lip colour which is why I like it so much. Clinique's Iced Lotus is also one of my favourite blushes its pale and had a sheen that bring a bright natural look to your face. Gliss Hair Repair is also on this list as I'm pretty sure it saved my hair, Its a leave in condition with liquid keratin which means it not only makes your hair smell great but also strengthen it. And finally the polaroid camera is to die for, I do have a polaroid camera from fujifilm and I love it. So this Hello Kitty Hybrid is defiantly perfect for this Barbie wish list.

Day To Day - Eyes and Eyebrow Products Reveiwed

Hey,
This is the last edition to my three part blog posts on my daily make up products that I have been currently using. I have done both a foundation and cheek reviews as well. These are my current eyebrows and eyes products, these are just for a simple day look sometimes i'll add extra pieces and layer on more eye make up but mainly if I only have time. I'm always late so on a day to day basics thats a massive maybe. Side note the photos ain't mine just an edit as let be real all my make up is a mess.

Eyebrows - Sleek Brow Kit - Extra Dark
I used to use brow pencils and eye shadows and all sorts to try and tame my eyebrows, I have only just started using this but I really like it so far. Its long lasting, doesn't smudge easily and is pretty easy to apply. I prefer the gel/cream colour as an almost primer, it adds colour and allows the pigment to last longer as the powder sets it. The only thing I would say is to be careful your brows don't turn in to blocks as the gel/cream can be a strong colour. I also tend to set my brows will clear mascara as it keeps all the wild hairs in one place.

Mascara - Falsies Volume Express - Illegal Length - Maybelline
I have done a previous post on these mascaras and why I love the combination which I will link and you can read the in-depth review and pictures clearly. The post

Eye Liner - Lasting Drama Black Shock - Maybelline
This Maybelline eyeliner is a gel formula which is my favourite type as when you are applying it it does not run like liquid liner which makes it easier. It also lasts a hell of a lot longer than any pencil or liquid liner I have ever found. It has a high black pigmentation and due to the pen style packaging it is really easy and quick to apply when your running late.

Eye Shadow Pallet - Naked 2 Basics  - Urban Decay
I don't wear eyeshadow every day but when I do I either tend to sweep a small bit of bronzer in the crease to make my eye look defined, I also find it is the perfect thing to blend a natural eye and give a bronzed glowing look. But if I'm going all out, well as much as I can be bothered to in the morning I will use the Naked pallet. I mainly love this pallet as  the majority is matt and works well for both day and night, its also small and easy to carry around. All the colours are build able and work well for subtle smokey eyes especially for the day time. My personal favourites are Cover and Primal.

Day To Day - Cheek Products Reviewed

Hey,
So this is the second part to my day to day products I use on my face the first was my skin products which you can find here. So these are my cheek products and I used only two different products which is very tamed compared to how many products I usually use. I don't tend to wear any bight pink blushes or anything like that as so it mainly for contour and highlight and I will occasionally use a darker bronzer.

Blush/Contour powder - Mac - Harmony - Matt
This is a relevantly recent purchase and I've actually really been enjoying this product I find it adds another dimension to my contouring, this adds a little more pink tones to my skin making my skin look fresher and natural. Harmony is promoted as a blush however many Mac make up artists do suggest it as a highlight as it has such a deep brown undertone. I think this will also work well in the winter when I am my palest.

Contour/Highlighter - Maybelline - Master Sculpt
I purchased this on a whim a few months ago and I've actually really come to love it, The contour colour is perfect for my skin tone and blends well, and really that all I want from a contour powder. The highlighter is also great for every day as well, its nature due to the pink undertone and is very finally milled so these is not large chunks of glitter. This is why it looks so much more natural. The only problem I have with this product it that the contour and highlighter touch. I just want the contour to stay matt and the highlighter to say shimmery. I don't think thats too much to ask for. Although I probably will purchase it again.

The last addition in this is going to be eyes and eyebrows, I also may do one for my go to night out eye products.

Hey guys, So Pale Blues and Beige clearly inspire this entire outfit, It very natural with out being dull which is why I picked it as my weekly favouite for this outfit inspiration post. I also just love that picture of Willow Smith, and as always my link to my Tumblr is on the side bar of this page. This is also a purely ASOS outfit and is light for summer.

Day To Day - Face Products Reveiwed

Hey guys,
I am definitely one of those people who can't commit to products, I'm constantly buying new products and never finishing the old so I've been trying to buy less or just buy different products only when I hit pan. However I have found some make up products that I tend to repurchase and actually use to the end.

Primer  - Maybeline Baby Face
I find this works well in hiding large pores and create a smooth base between skin care and foundation, I have found when using this my makeup sites better and I also use less foundation. However it is one of those products you either love or hate as I know many people don't see the point in primer or  find silicon based primers an odd feeling on the skin, I have used primers for years both high end and high-street and although there are benefits of both. I do find that high end primers do work well however on a day to day its more practical money wise to find cheaper options.

Foundation - Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour -mixed with- Rimmel BB cream
Okay so I hate the feeling of foundation all up on my face all day, lets get real it feels kinda gross. So to make it lighter I like mixing something with a strong medium to heavy coverage and something that is light. This means i get my coverage and it doesn't feel gross all day. I only do this during the day time, if I'm going out at night i will slap on all the foundation I need. I find this combination lasts well through out at the day and it doesn't get too shiny which is great because I do get oily skin here and there. Another plus is it looks natural, is inexpensive and has an SPF 20 meaning its going to protect your skin.

Concealer - Mac Pro Longwear (NW25 - NW20)
This concealer is high coverage and lasts all day which is great if you have any spots or marks you need to cover up, however i also use it under my eyes but only very lightly as it can turn cakey. I'm still looking for the best concealer for my skin,  I do like this but for the price I don't know if I like it enough to repurchase. However I do find this a great product when used lightly.

Powder - Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
And to set all of the product i've bashed in to my skin I do like a slightly heavyer powder as I do have oily skin. I find this one works well as I can use it lightly so I don't look cakey, however my make ups not going to slid down my face. I don't really have much more to add about this powder, its great and I love it. I would not advice for dry skin as it will just attract to them areas.

I will be doing a separate post for highlighting and contouring as well as my eyebrows and eyes.
