Micro Brow Pencils ?!?

Ever since the Anastasia Brow Wiz hype I've defiantly wanted to get my hands on one. Then after spending a ridiculous amount of my work wages in Sephora,  when I visited New York in January I've been trying to find a dupe.

First things first the Anastasia Brow Wiz is 100% worth the hype, the pigmentation and colour range worked so well for me. However this has been the first time I've tried a micro brow pencil. It is by far the best way to fill in my brows. A micro pencil gives you a lot more control on how thick or thin you want your brows as well as how dense. The only thing which can be annoying is that they run out very quickly as they are so thin, you just don't get that much product

Even though you can order the Anastasia Brow Wiz online, it's just unrealistic all the time which is why I wanted more micro pencil options. So far I've found the Urban Decay Brow Beater and the Smashbox Brow Tech Matte. To be honest even though they are all roughly the same price so they can't be considered cheaper dupes. However the accessibility of  them in the UK does help.

Smashbox Brow Tech Matte Pencil: Available in 4 colours, Purchased at Boots, Costs £16.50

Urban Decay Brow Beater: Available in 4 colours, Purchased at Debenhams, Costs £15

Anastasia Brow Wiz: Available in 10 colours, Purchased at Sephora, Costs approx. £15.50

Social Media Intern

So as a appart of my university course I have to complete 100 hours as an intern. As I am interning as a social media team member I though it would be cool to show some of my work on my own blog. Intern is great for experience especially when you are still studying - The only annoying part is many are unpaid (poor student forever✌️)  HOWEVER I am doing mine for a brand my uni has created meaning it is a lot easier to fit in with normal work. Although I'd love to so a swanky internship in London I just don't have the funds, so this worked out perfectly.

As a part of my internship I am in control off all the brands social media, meaning I get to take picture of sooooooo many different types of clothes which I am in love with. As its a vintage and student made collective type of store their are loads of different types of designer and type of products.

Heres so images that I particularly like (I have taken them all):

So here are a couple things i've learnt while doing social media full time:

1. Have a theme - sometimes it can become pointless so having a theme for example i have a lot of festival themes for this month. It gives the posts purpose.

2. Take photographs in advance and pre plan, I makes staying up to date a lot easier.

3. Taking the pictures on a different camera give a much better quality.

4. Add hashtags, even though some people don't doing it, it really makes a difference when your trying to get exposer.

5.Get other peoples advice and take note of what has become popular. This helps you tailor your posts to what people actually want to see.

Hope you guys found this interesting

Winging White Eyeliner

I've been seeing so many Instagram posts with white eyeliner and I have been dying to get my hands on some. Finally found the NYX white eyeliner in boots and I decide to use it on this neutral matte eye look for my first try. All the eyeshadows used in this were from the Tarte Tartelette in the bloom pallet (Jetsetter, Flower child, Charmer, Sweetheart, Rebel and Leader all mixed into one).

My veridic is that white eyeliner is BEAUTIFUL but cracks so much - I had it on for a couple hours and it was cracked to pieces and flaking off in a matter of hours. It would look great for a photo shoot or a small period of time but anything else it would seem a bit pointless which is a shame. If anyone knows of a longlasting white liquid eyeliner tell me ?!?!?
